Ms. Lisa Kanouse

Ms. Kanouse is an administrative assistant for an Electrical Contractor in
Anaheim, California. She has been in the Construction field as an administrative assistant for the past 6 years.
Ms. Kanouse is very involved in her church, on the board for outreach programs, volunteers, along with
being involved in women’s ministries. For the past 3 years she has been a co-chair for the SIDS (Sudden Infant
Death Syndrome) Annual Fundraiser held in April.
Since 2005, Ms. Kanouse has known that
she wanted to be involved with FoRe!, but didn’t quite know in what way. She has enjoyed watching
FoRe! grow and evolve into a force for Women, Men and Children to have a voice. She feels that this is so important
as she was a victim of child sexual abuse and rape. "It caused me to have female problems and to have a hysterectomy
at the age of 30. FoRe! has helped me face a lot of my childhood fears along with “pushing” me on my
walk in life, and most of all, with GOD. I am truly grateful."
